Work is toxic.
True, I work in an office, or today my home, not a coal mine, But what it is is the silly politics of the office culture, and the micro managing that abounds, cause that way you look like you run the place? I'm sure again that this is all quite normal in office culture across the nation and perhaps globe. But there has got to be a better way.
I know most places all put nice little posters and slogans about how they care about the earth, the law, and even the lowly workers, well and of course the customers. I just like how so much of it is just talk and in the work a day culture that follows, its anything but humane, more likely resembling an abusive relationship that you should leave. (But they say they love you, and you stay, black eye and all)
Its not about my company, its about every company, (maybe not Google?) IDK maybe there too.
Yet I have to kill myself at work (figuratively) so I can have health care, a steady (legal) income, and then afford to pay for a home.
Living off the land and going native, one does not quite appeal to me, and neither is is very plausible in today's wold, at least this part of the world.
I know we all have choices, though in some way we don't. You live today in the 21st Century, and that brings some certain facts to the world that you cannot choose.
I'm ranting now, so before I get all the worlds problems solved by way of some crazed manifesto, let me end my break and return to the realm of the real and get back to work.

I have a good job. I think we all come to a place where we want to work in a job that has meaning. I think the quicker you can find that sort of job the more happy you tend to be at work.
Never get out of bed before noon.
